Digital Interactive Ads: Blue Ridge Foster Love 

Client

Blue Ridge Foster Love, a non-profit organization in Dayton, Virginia, which provides essentials to kinship and foster families.

Target

Women between the ages of 35-44, many of whom have children.

Task

To promote Blue Ridge Foster Love’s Amazon Wish Tree through Instagram and Facebook posts. We used a Christmas theme for the deliverables since the project took place during the holiday season.

To ask our target audience to add to our conversation with reasons why they donated, not that they donated.

Rationale

In asking our audience to share their reasons to donate, we take away any boastful aspect of the act and instead focus on the meaning of the holiday itself; giving.

 

In asking the audience to contribute to the conversation, we give them the opportunity to post pictures of their children, Christmas memories, or general reasons for holiday cheer.

 

The creative approach involves simple, yet engaging illustrative designs with visual symbols of Christmas along with written reasons to donate.
